Design and Performance:

The Oil King switches feature a POM stem housed within a Nylon PA66 top housing and a proprietary Ink material bottom housing, providing ultra-stability and minimal wobble.

The 20 mm black-plated spring allows for a 55 gf actuation force and an 80 gf bottom-out force, creating a unique and super-smooth typing feel.

Factory pre-lubrication helps avoid spring ping and unnecessary friction, ensuring a consistent and pleasant typing experience.

Sound Profile:

These switches produce a deep, "thocky" sound, offering a satisfying auditory feedback during typing.

Comparison with Other Linear Switches:

Compared to Gateron's CJ Light Blue switches, the Oil King switches offer a deeper sound and smoother feel out of the box. The opaque black upper housing of the Oil King switches may dampen RGB lighting somewhat.

In summary, Gateron's Oil King switches are an excellent choice for users seeking a high-quality, smooth, and responsive linear switch with a deep sound profile, suitable for both typing and gaming applications.
